Vinyl hatband is affixed to the hat with a decorative brass rivet. Fully lined hat with 2 brass vent holes on each side for ventilation. This is an especially comfortable hat. The sweatband is elastic.
Even though you cannot see any palm leaf, there is a well made Guatemalan palm leaf hat underneath, which means its a good strong hat.
